In building houses for movie sets, some organized sketched floor plans are drawn for the perfectness of the house. The floor plans explain clearly the position of the house interiors and even the colors. All of them are done for a goal that the house is categorized as suitable house to be in a movie.
The famous animation movie entitled ‘Up’ has beautiful sketch room design of the residence of Ellie and Carl Fredricksen as the main characters. From the sketch design, it can be seen that the residence is large enough but simple. The home furniture is not glamour and the design is not minimalist. This house plan is accepted since this is what is needed in the movie.
Different from the previous, the floor plan of the Evergreen Terrace in the TV series ‘The Simpsons’ is more modern and minimalist. The house is full colors with the new style of positioning interiors. The ground floor is for living area and the first floor is for the bedrooms. Both floors have a small long room in the middle only for stairs. The rooms are open since some rooms does not have door if it is not too needed. The living room, dining room, kitchen and family room are in one location bordered by walls but not doors. The room has different bright colors. Crashing the colors is sometimes being a best option in designing the interiors.
The contemporary residence of Dexter Morgan in the other TV series is again different from the previous two. The residence is square and minimalist, very modern. The rooms are opened even without walls or doors. The interiors are placed properly in a very large multifunction room. Moreover, the white and black colors are the dominated colors. The residence becomes more and more elegant. This house is suitable for the elegant personalization of Dexter. Once more, the appropriate sketch house plans for movies have to be in line with the characters.
