For those with large family, or those who love to have a getaway, a modern residence is sometimes needed for a place to stay whenever they need it and it can be designed to be as homey as possible, not like when you are traveling and stay in the hotel. It will be perfect if the residence is located on the uphill and in a place with quiet neighborhood and, if possible, great nature view, like the Dudley Residence by Bourne Blue Architecture that takes place on the east coast of New South Wales.
The residence has a unique and modern residence design because it is located on an uphill slope where as you can see from the plan, that the building has gone long to the back with stairs to connect each part of the building that goes lower on the behind. Still, this slope doesn’t mean anything and isn’t an obstacle to have a private residence with great design, both on the outside and inside. Even, this slope is effective to give a hideous effect for the residence when you look at it from the front.
From the front entrance, first you will see the large wood door that is the garage’s door and another entrance of glass door on the lower level. After you get in, you will be welcomed with the long wood table with black chairs and a large abstract red painting on the wall for the dining space that can be used for many people and can be used for a meeting since you will find another dining space on the deck with dining table with bright tablecloth and different chairs with white color.
The living room uses grey sofas with colorful cushions and there is a wooden bookshelf. You can see how the room nicely and simply decorated with another abstract painting. From this room, you can also see the view outside through the large windows that use bay window with blue cozy seats. You can go to the modern residence pool too from here, where the pool is designed simply with glass railings and wood poolside that looks modern.
