Green Screen House is a green concept house in Saitama, Japan. The architects of Hideo Kumaki Architect Office plan this house in brilliant ways. They make a totally smart concept in ecofriendly solutions. The house stands on a land near the street and neighbors’ houses. The architects can make this residence with calm nuance and keep the privacy of the occupants even with the condition of its environments. It is really undoubtedly that Japanese people are smart and creative.
This house has unique curve shape. The architects combine green concept design with the existence condition. Curve walls distance the neighbors’ houses instead open to a private yard with hedges around. Living and dining areas are the spaces that open to the garden with glass sliding doors, but they are shady with live green walls that the designers make obliquely to cover them. It is really amazing. Those natural vines can reduce 10 degrees Celsius behind them and get the ecofriendly concept that save the energy source.
There is an outdoor dining below the vines. White table and seats are comfortable and cool because of the natural walls and luxuriant garden around. The occupants can make some outdoor activities without worrying about burned skin. A lot of designers in the world have to emulate this concept for the earth sustainability and comfort human being.
This house’s interiors are also convenient. The architect creates lengthwise open living concept with sparsely design. There is a home office at the cornet with wall mounted shelves. A kitchen with permanent wall cabinets separates the office with a dining room. Crude wooden dining table with pattered baby blue and black chairs harmoniously stands in the middle of the area. The most favored space is a family room at the corner. It has oblique wall and round skylight with curve seats and all purple carpets that are really comfortable.
